The label unit by Junichi Oguro and Makoto Miura unites the image and music, and conceptualizes their ideas as "total techno".In respect of music, they won the Grand-Prix award in the Groove contest of Roland, and perform DJ and live variably. In respect of imaging fields, they participate the digital image festival "onedotzero" held in London. Dealing with promotion video, CM manufacture, an opening title, etc., they unite images and sound as new originality, and it is working broadly in and outside the country.


CAD. (Coolrchidesign) is a local representative design unit that was established in 1999 and aims at creating design work with music, visual imaging, and computer network from the viewpoint of architectural design. Each member of the unit has won a prize in a design competition in various fields. They always do their wide-ranging designing work such as (visual imaging, music, graphics, architecture, V.J. ((video jockey)) and event projects, etc.) with the key concept of "space" as their highest priority. They use the software such as Max/MSP, Jitter, and Reaktor to develop a live concert full of more interactivity.
Taken out the lump accumulated in the body.These of his works express the past, the future, and the present: called "daily life". His works always make us various feelings. His activity at his website "ROCKETBEANS" is also interesting.

Brief history:
From Sapporo, Hokkaido. Born in 1980. Majored in CG in theHokkaido art design vocational school. The CG work ofgraduation production was selected for TBS digicon award in 2000.
Current status:
Live drawing at SOSO CAFE. As a member of REgraphy.

In Sapporo, he produces the music that forms space, such as a soundscape, ambient, and electionica. The live performance was divided into two sets. The first set was "Introduction", and considered the sound that wraps in the hall softly, non-beat, and ambience were offered.
On the second set, he performed assuming that more musical element than the first set, including its beat. For both first and second sets, he could offer the space of sound echoed and crossed in the hall, and thought that very precious space has been experienced.

She started activity as a free lance designer in Sapporoafter having worked in a WEB production company inSapporo. Now she produces character design, WEB design andplanning. Good at a functional WEB designs with pleasureand the softness. Currently, begins to be interested inphotography.
Graphic designer. Born in 1974. Graduated from Kyusyu Sangyo University, major in design. Using analog technique such as a sawing machine, cloth, and paint, she works in the fields of fashion advertisements, motion graphics, and graphics for T-shirts. She participated in the group exhibition by the Omotesando gallery "coexistence" in October 2004

Midori Tamade (tamas) Miki Toshimi Murayma
OTO (Masaaki Otsugawa)
Born in Sapporo. Graduated from Columbia Collage in Chicago, US.She is under activity by "tamas", unit which is performing contents work of a character, an illustration, animation, etc. Invitation artist in 2005 Creative Lapland Project (Finland).

Graduated from Bunka Women's University, department of home economics, major in life-modeling. After 2 years of corporate service, she began her illustration and design work. She was awarded the "Sapporo ADC Competition & Awards" general graphic section in 2001 and 2002. As the recent activities, posters are exhibited in NUMERO DEUX sponsoring "PICTORIAL", and "mg*luck" by Felissimo Ltd. includes participation and sales of the original message cards, etc. at Odakyu department store. The one-man show is held with gallery "m+o" in December 2004."Atmosphere that is simple but not too sweet though is lovely" in her mind, and creative activity is performed now.
After his carrier at the design office, he joined the creator group "CAD". He founded "Coolarchidesign" in 2000 as the director, and established incorporated "io style" in2003 as the representative director COO. He produces motion graphics, art directions, VJ, and event planning etc. Director of art events "LIFE", image work production for "onedotzero", participates "monthly techno party SASORI", sound live performance VJ at "SnowSilence", produced pictorial work and package design for E2O#04.


Born in 1982. He starts his carrier in 2001 as his field, such as graphics and the illustrations which are called SENGA (line drawing) and which mainly consisted of lines.Also, he produces the design of the indies brand "BABEL" etc.

Graphic Designer. Representative of "REgraphy". Born in South Korea. Graduated from Hongik University, major in art. and Digital Hollywood Tokyo. Live in Sapporo since 2000. She performs designs, such as an event of presentation data, WEB, a motion graphics, games, and design for commercial institutions in Korea and Japan. She manages REgraphy and also works as CG lecturers in a Sapporo digital vocational school and a digital Hollywood Sapporo. She is the female creator with skilled Japanese and Korean who is full of vitality.

Freelance designer / illustrator who has become independent from a web production company since 2001. I want to produce my own illustration and character, through various influences. -"Model Name: TOKUGAWA" in Funny Club Figures "2005 The Funny Club Show" exhibition.
Born In 1984. Lives in Sapporo since 2002.Under enrollment in Sapporo Visual Arts, she joined "IO Style" as a creator in 2004. She offers her work "impression" in exhibition "HOW" and "Mo'element". Also, in "Mo'element", she performed as the vocalist of "and/or".

She met compact camera in her high school days, and became the captive of a photograph.She worked as a film festival volunteer in Sapporo International University, and then, studied web and graphics in Hokkaido molding design vocational school. Under the enrollment in the design school, she joined as a creator with "io style” which served by CAD.

Born in 1976. Lives in Ebetsu, Hokkaido. Freelance illustrator since 2002. Mainly, she draws the elegance of women.As a present lifework, she produces the illustration "Emishi", means the place in Hokkaido in Ainu language. She aims at making the work that can feel a reverberation.

Freelance designer / illustrator, produces cartoon, animation, web design etc. Currently, he teaches cartoon and illustration in art school, and appears internet radio programs. He participates in the group exhibition every year as the illustrator.
They started their unit with the main concept that they will make music from the view point of space and sound design. Without classifying their music, they freely use various advanced technologies and sometimes with the piano (which has analogue sound) to create interactive sound designs which react to their environment. Without losing its musical emotions and feelings, and/or created music in real-time, which is a brand new type of sound for artists of a new generation.
Graduated from Oklahoma State University, major in sociology. Since his childhood, he is familiar with violin and various stringed instruments. Also a cencert master in intramural orchestra under the enrollment in collage. He goes back through the blues club circuit about one and half year in Oklahoma and Chicago. Now He belongs to the design office Bit Beans inc. (Tokyo), and deals with sounds and motion graphics.

The Dramatic Creation & Entertainment Plan joe (Yuzuru Kitagawa)

We're the planning team by volunteers which energize the art scene of Hokkaido, and plan interchange of creators and companies of Hokkaido. Currently we're active mainly on event planning, such as "Art space series" which exhibit 2000 kinds of postcards by 100 creator teams, and "Christmas card collection" which commercialize the design that we invited public participation.
Since 1999, he has formed VJ unit with his university friends, and has begun activity in Sapporo. He planned the "spectra" event himself, and also joined with "&BEYOND" by Mix2000, "HYPERNATION" by D's Garage21, "SASORI" by aerostich, etc.
From 2004, he moved to Tokyo and begun to take scenery photos. He pursues beautiful "moment", and goes to various places.
Born in 1976. Since 2003, I began to make my stuff, such as T-shirts, cards, mobile sculptures, and lights as I hit. Though I do not see my destination yet, I'll continue making stuff. I exhibited in miel cafe at Sapporo for the first time in the end of this March. Brief history:
Graduated from Sapporo FAM art research institute in 1991. Now in Musashino Art University, Tokyo, correspondence course, oil painting subject.
Private exhibition activity:
produced many stuff at 9 times in Daimaru Fujii at Sapporo, and 450 broadway gallery in NYC.
A work introduction:
F30: "temples" "boisterous dance", and F15: "eye contact". The leading role of these works are fish of the Okinawa sea that it is cheerful, stout, and splendid. For more information, please see my website.

Mie Hayamizu Setsuko Tsujiya (Rupia) Hideki Fukuchi 3+ (Three Plus) from Yokohama
It is 2 and a half years, since I begin to have a camera. Because of self-education, it is continuation of failure and discovery every day. But it is wonderful that I was able to have the means which I can express besides words by myself. This time, I tried to express two different feelings in the same place in myself as a work of "I". She passes through a stylist and a display designer, and finally finds her way to a photographer. She is concerned with advertisement with her own style to photograph of the self produced 3D art object. At the same time, she establishes power stone jewelry brand "Rupia", is charge of design and production, and announced at the web store. He produces a woodcut while producing paper craft design / 3DCG in the welfare institution of Iwamizawa city. About a woodcut, he began activity in last year mainly on exhibitions, and wants to aim at warmthmonochromatic expression with the subject matter of a tree itself.Also, he will so his exhibition at Sapporo archives museum (ohdori west 13) from August 9, 2005 to 14th.By the way, the image above is his favorite ramen shop at Kurisawa. A solo project to express image scenery of Masashi Shiraishi and its atmosphere as music. This time, he participates from Yokohama with Kohei Sugawara (noise guitar), and Mari Inoue (violin).

"Junkan" is bundled up the personal desire of expression of Takashi Watanabe, and his carriers unified with product arrangement and sound design. A concept of "Junkan" is the milestone which brought a desire of very fresh expression to me. From Hokkaido. I give live performance,musical production for drama, art works and TV programs since college days. Pass through 3 years of work experience, and now I do sound arrangement and design for movies, TVs, commercials, games, and re-mix works. From Sapporo. Since Nov. 2003, active as dear FILMS. I am regularly announcing a work in youth information magazine "complex" from June, 2004. SAPPORO MODE CORE (hair show) photography in February, 2005. I experience LIVE photography of ROSSO which one aimed for in March,2005. Private exhibition holding in Sapporo in May, 2005. Exhibited in July by a Higashikawa international photo Festival photograph independence exhibition. LIVE photography of detroit7 in July, 2005.And I am going to hold an unconventional private exhibition in Fuji photo salon (Sapporo) in July, 2007. Formerly in Nippon Animation. Co., Ltd, Now belongs to Story Game Designers, citizen's group in Eniwa, and produces the world of great inventor (pretense) Dr, Tsukuuru, such as setteing documents, paper works, and free papers, etc. "Manzara" is an art unit comprising of Daisuke Sakamoto and Daisuke Funato. They treat life space as an element / a place of expression, and propose expression of human life and communication as "embedded interactive art (electronic art embedded in environment)". Now they produce their works with self developed "activeCanvas" at graduate school of Future University - Hakodate.
